Chips

Do you eat chips?
The reason I ask is because after 10 years of healthy eating hubby went out and bought a chip pan today , we never could get on with deep fat friers.
So what sort of chips do you eat?

Oooh, don't often eat chips but you can't be big, fat homemade chips now and again! Mmmm!

I like chippy chips too though!

Enjoy your chips, Jenny!

you should've allowed multiple choice in the voting....my answer is 'all of the above' (except the 'I don't eat chips one)

Chip buttie is right up there in my list of favourite foods. Oven chips aren't nearly as good as home made or chip shop chips, but they are less fatty, so we do have them more often than not.

(PS when I saw the heading of your thread and that there was a poll, I thought the poll options were going to be 'Daddy or Chips' - do you remember that advert? )

I'm an 'all three' gal -- eat frozen ones, homemade ones and chippy chips.

We don't eat many chips and we don't own a chip pan/deep fat fryer either.

We usually have homemade wedges as an alternative to chips.

We rarely have fish and chips and i don't often have chips with a meal as I don't like "fat" chips, i prefer the thin ones like you get at McDonalds.

We eat lots of oven chips, I hate deep fat fryers and chip pans (but then mum did burn the house down with a chip pan fire when I was 14 - literally, it was reduced to little more than foundations!!)

OH LOVES chippys but I am not keen I don't like Chippy chips BUT the chinese near me does EXCELLENT thick cut fried chips and I do indulge!!

And of course...Mcdonalds fries!!

I like fat ones I'm going to have to be careful just how often we have them now though.

I don't really eat them but if I do, I prefer potato wedges, in their skins, home made in the oven.
