I think weims are beautiful dogs to look at but the alaskan malamute I love on looks alone, sadly not a dog for me, at least not at this time in my life.

Yep...on looks alone I would pick:

Border collies...specifically rough-coated ones. I'm not into the smooth-coated ones. I like long-haired dogs!

But I would also pick:

Australian shepherd
Puli
Alaskan Malamute
Tamaskan Dog
Papillon (they are SO CUTE OMG)
Keeshond

A husky dog - they're lush but also like BCs, GSDs, saw some stunning Leons at the agricultural show mmm...if I had all the time and money in the world I think I'd have a pack of allsorts plus lots of nice mutts. The dogs I am not so keen on generally are the smaller dogs though saying that I met a guy with a Welsh Terrier the other day and that is so cute.

shaggy lurcher,
GSD
GWP

for me, i just love the look of the shaggy lurchers, like greengrass used to have in Heartbeat, but a GSD and GWP do it for me as well
