Ouch! Been there, done that. Once switched off at the mains and came home after a week to the most horrible, rotting flesh smell imaginable.

Pity I wasn't on here then because it took me a week and a half of scrubbing and leaving the doors open to finally get rid of it. Was quite miffed that the full leg of pork that was in there was ruined too

We live and learn and hopefully get wiser. I've never switched off at the mains since

hi vicki
i'm not the best with baad smells and had to get the gloves on, bin bags ready and wheely bin outside the back door before i could even start cleaning!!!! if i had a mask believe me it would've been on lol. So glad kitchen back to normal and freezer almost full again. x

hopefully i won't next time i've got holidays kept looking at first thinking nah and then i'd smell the stink again and again and again!
