How do you get into agility

This might sound stupid, but how do you start doing agility? What is the best age to start the dogs on agility training? I have always wanted to do agility, but never knew how to start, and I haven't had a young dog for years now, but we have a collie pup and want to start her at agility when she's ready!

Find your local club and get her name down now - but she can't start real training till 12 months, in between now and then you can be working on obedience, socialising, directional commands and also get her used to walking on different surfaces

Good recall
Best reinforced Stay you can get.
Touch hand.
Playing with a ball or a tuggy.
Stay, bring to your r/hand side and throw the ball forward.
Same on l/hand.
Develop into a turn around you as they come to your side.
Weave through your legs..
Go between 2 poles.
Come to you between 2 poles.
Go round 4 poles ,outer.
Go round 4 poles inner circle.
Run circles at both sides of you.
Dont hurry to do full weaves or jumping.
Lots of basic close control is more important.
