Is this because he doesn`t like dogs? My mum told me never to trust a man who doesn`t like dogs or children. She was a very wise woman.
If it is, and you choose the boyfriend you will regret it. All your life.

Poor dog.

What are the actual "reasons" for you getting rid of the dog? I know you say because of problems with your boyfriend, but what problems?

I would never, ever get rid of any dog of mine because of a man. Get rid of the nyaff, not the dog!

I don't know how you can bear to part with her.

Hi hun, Bailey sounds perfect.
Can I ask the reason behind her having to be re-homed.

Only I read what you put and the part where you said ...she follows you round, is good in the house etc., thats sadly a shame if you do have to re-home her as she sounds as if she loves you dearly.

I reallise that we as a forum are probably seemingly nosey, but as you can imagin we love dogs........

can we help with any advice, not trying to be nosey, but Bailey looks so loving I'd be sad if she was mine and I had to give her up

Especially when that is a living loving and eternally faithfull creature like a dog.

I hope you do find a lovely new home for Bailey but being so much older than you I can only say my life experience has taught me dogs are a million times more faithfull than many humans.

ETA - Looks like we won't be seeing this Dogsey member anymore
