Kitchen taps

Yesterday

In replaced the inserts on the kitchen mixer tap. Sue and I went to a specialist shop that stocks absolutely everything to do with plumbing. So armed with the correct parts we got home and fitted the tap inserts and now the taps don't drip and a lot smoother to turn

So I looked at the ones in the utility room. Some so called professional plumber needs shooting. this was done before we moved in

spot the mistake

NO?

The right hand tap is so close to the wall that getting to the insert means removing the whole unit. they should have fitted a mixer unit with vertical taps
