have you contacted your nearest Staffy club?
Perhaps Morecambe Bay & Cumbria/ North West/Merseyside?

I dont think my hubby has spoken to anyone at Merseyside, but the other two he has, and although they were very very helpful as yet we are still without a pup

Sorry but did you mention a colour? I forgot to look

I know of a black litter in Derby area?

You could also try contacting Paula Williams at Alyn & Deeside club

I think you are right to worry about a breeder who lets a pup go at 6 weeks...its too early.A pup should be allowed to learn from its mum and siblings till it is 8 weeks old.
Try contacting the breed club...they will be able to help

Thanks for the info, not sure how far derby is from here, again I will speak to my hubby later. As for colour, hubby always wanted a red and white and I liked the black and white. I suppose it really doesnt matter.

Thats what I had heard, but there seem to be quite a few people who seem to think its ok to let the pups go at 6 weeks. I think I would feel happier if it was nearer the 7 week mark.
