That moment !

You know that moment when you think the puppy chewing has stopped so you start leaving a few things around the place ? Well my reading glasses are now telling me I was being far too trusting Betty at her very best I think !

Been there, done that, but Pereg was nearly three years old at the time

but luckily the specs [my computer ones] were able to be straightened and new nose pads fitted. Just a wee scratch on the anti-glare coating on one lens!

[Please ignore the state of the couch - it has since been replaced!]

Marco doesn't seem to do the chewing of anything unless I nip upstairs to go the loo or get changed and then when I come down he'll have picked up the strangest thing and attacked it, an envelope, packet of cleansing wipes, a mascara box have all been his victims.

I used to have a couple of pair of nice reading sunglasses until Bella joined me. I always took them off when I got up to come inside. She then ate part of the book i'd been reading for dessert but always the sunnies first! Those were the days - not!
