nat yes the eye was shut and couldn,t be opened until we bathed it,
there was no discharge though
it looked like a sleepy eye to me to start with
and was fine yesterday when we had them out
will get hubby to check it,s teeth and see if they are okay or not

can,t believe how their colours have changed so quick either
but yes they are very cute,i ,love their squashed up noses

Hehe yer there colour changes all the time one of mine was grey at bith then around the age os 5 weeks turned brown magic
It might of just been a sleepy eye then expecially if there was no discharge or symtoms before this, I would see how it is tomoz as im sure with bathing it, it should clear up
They eat so much too dont they its unbelieveable, love them when there this age

Hi Jax
could be a blocked tear duct, i found it with certain litters especially when they were smaller litters as the nest was somewhat dormant and lay unstureed, so a lot of the dust from the hay/straw/shavings/fur begins to get everywhere when the nest actually is 'in use' blocked tear ducts are just a thought

UPDATED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

our baby rabbits are 5 weeks old now and hubby went our today to get them so we can get them used to being handled
we get them out everyday, let them have a run round the garden then bring them in for cuddles
heres some pics of them

when he went to put them back he heard a weird noise
on closer inspection he found these

yes another 5 babies
now we did take dad out as soon as we found the 1st ones, but a little while after when they were in the garden they disappeared,so we think they got together again
now i know it is very irresponsable of us and we are taking measures on monday that this will never happen again
but just wanted to show you all our new additions
we now have 62 pets
