Picture from our first night, question about gates, and our first outing!

So little Mya does NOT like the playpen I bought to keep her contained at night. In fact, at 2:30 this morning I woke up to her whining because she scaled the gate and couldn't get down! Any ideas on how I can keep her in her designated area while we sleep? I'm afraid of her getting hurt or some other worst case scenario thing.

Also, we're getting ready to go on our first outing! I waited to buy her harness because I wanted to make sure it would fit her, so we're all greeting ready to head down to the pet shop. Wish me luck, cause she doesn't seem to like car rides just yet.

And just because it's cute, here's a picture of when my girls crashed out last night.

Such a wonderfully sweet photo of two beautiful little girls.

On the playpen front, perhaps rigging up some cardboard on the inside (tying it in place) so that the sides are smooth ??

What a glorious photo. It definitely deserves framing, and put in a place in your home for all to see

Thanks everyone!

The cardboard trick sounds like a good idea! I'll have to try that!

Mya is so sweet - well actually, both girls are so sweet. Your daughter must have been over the moon when she discovered the secret!
I'm sure she will soon settle - have you tried a warm water bottle under the edge of her bedding, and a ticking clock nearby. I used to advise this when I bred Cavaliers, and it had a good success rate - It's supposed to subconsciously remind them of being close to the heartbeat and warmth of another puppy.
