Dog behaviour courses

Looking at doing a course in dog behaviour/training as a possible new career option and to help train my own boy.

Has anyone ever done any open university/college courses in this? If you have, how did you find doing them?

I know several who done courses at Bishop Burton, not all you have to attend college apart from a couple of weeks a year. They all became good trainers and behaviourists.

I am doing the Advanced diploma in Canine Behaviour Management with Compass Education. its a level 5 course which means it is foundation degree equivalent. Very in depth on the theory, the downside is you get no practical training. When and if I can afford it I would like to do one of the COAPE courses.
