he is fine, she has took him out for a walk, back to where she found him, hoping to get someone to see him that might recognise him, trouble is (with out wanting to judge) how resonsible are the owners for him to be out running around on the road

ah emma at least somebody caring found him. i would also ring all the vets and rescue centres and such like. somebody could be really missing him he could of escaped cos a kid let him out or someone let him out of their garden. it could be genuine? probably not but best to make sure

yeh i wud give the info to the vets and rescues too. first place people ring when their pet goes missing is the vets he cud have escaped out the front or back door or even the garden. and if he had a collar on he must belong to someone
