Owner advised to hit bitch that won't nurse puppy: if genuine advice please

i was just going through another site and saw this can someone please answer this as i am to mad .................................I have a question that isn't on your whelping puppy tape. I have a Bitch Border collie that isn’t letting the puppy nurse. I tried putting the puppy on a Rott, but the Rott tried to bite the head off. The bitch Rott hates the other dog, though. I want to save the pup but how? We got a tube for tube feeding. I'm going to take the pup and the mom to a vet tomorrow. But what should I do? She isn't a good mother at all. This was her first puppy. Should I get her spade, and keep her as a pet? Me and this dog have a good friendship.

a friend of mine said that i must hit her over the damn head and beat her up top to make her lay there while you hold the pup and let it suck. If you have to muzzle her, do it, but the pup should be kept in a box with a heating pad at 90 degrees. Put the pup on the mom 9 or 10 times a day.

but i don't want he to not trust me after this please help me.

doggy mad you will just have to advise her as best you can and hope she listens

right im going to go try and reply as best as i can ive only had one litter myself so will advise she feeds pup herself and to keep it away from mum is that right i dont understand where the rottie comes in to it she must have 2 litters going at same time
