The Norfolk was lovely.I was praying the Shiba WOULDN'T win....STUNNING dog with such ring presence...and ALL shiba! But the breed really doesn't need to win Crufts!

....I see what you are saying Archer, and you have a good point for that same reason glad the Schnauzer (which like the shiba I did not see only heard about ) did not win either

Shibas are not an easy dog but look sooooo cute and cuddly .Would hate to see them become popular because of their size and looks and then a freind of mine who runs rescue have to pick up the pieces when they all learn what little s***s(in the nicest possible way ) these 'pretty little dogs' really are.
I love them but they are NOT for the faint hearted or novice owner.

Must admit I was suspicious because of the previous coverage and this being the Norfolks last show - it reminded me of the Peke that won a while back and the same thing happened. The coverage featured the owner and a long tale of how the dog would be retired after this last show etc, then it went and won it!
