Thanks, all.

Competition was very tough, so who knows. I'm not getting my hopes up at all, so we shall see what next week brings, if anything!

Whatever the outcome it's all good experience, you get to meet some new people, learn a bit about a business that you've maybe not been involved with, and had an opportunity to practice your interviewing skills for real.

Still sending lots of vibes and will look out for your news on Wed.

Thank you.

Actually, it wasn't! It's a great way of conducting interviews, I think. It means they say how people behave in a group of people they don't know and how they interact with each other, something I have no problem with.

There were 4 tables with 5 of us at each one. One woman talking and presenting the interview and 4 others assessing us over the course of the day. They swapped around several times so as they each got an idea of every person.

We did a one minute talk on a topic we picked randomly from a list of laminated topics that she offered us - mine was my favourite job - which is looking after and training my dogs - obviously I elaborated a bit on that.

Then we had to try and build a Rotastak hamster cage without the instructions which was hilarious!

After than we picked two items to try and sell as a grop - I picked a Mikki slicker brush and flea treatment! Quite fun.

We learned so much about the company too over the course of assessments.

Then we had our one to one interviews.

I felt mostly comfortable all the time, it was really good.

Hopefully they liked me too! We will soon see.

Pets At Home have got back to me already! How quick was that and on a Saturday too!

And it's great news! They liked me at the assessment day yesterday and have invited me for a work trial (date to be decided as yet) and another one to one interview, again to make sure I know all I need to know to make such a big decision (their words!). I'm not too nervous about it either but I obviously will do my preparations for it.

My interview yesterday was with the guy who will be the manager in the new store I will hopefully be working in if all goes well. We got on really well and chatted away as if we'd known each other for ages, he was really nice.

The new store is in my hometown and only around a 7 - 10 minute drive from my house, so that's brilliant.

Thanks for all advice, everyone, and keep those positive vibes coming my way just now, please!
