So proud of Maia (Utonagan) today, her first homecheck

Today I homechecked for GSD rescue, now normally I would just take Jack my Labrador in with me to do the check, and leave Madam Maia (Utonagan) in the car, however today I thought I would give her a chance to see how far she has come from 3 years ago, when she was a nervous wreck around strangers and would bark and back away.

Well.. was I a proud mum, I took Jack in first on his own to see how they were with dog, explained Maia's background and they asked to see her, I told them to ignore her when she came in...well she blew me away.

She came trotting into their home, had a good sniff around and proceeded to sit next to the lovely couple and preceeded to give them all a good wash and demand cuddles and stroking

They definately passed the Maia test with flying colours.

I am so proud of her, its taken a lot of hard work and tears of frustration to get her to this stage, but by eck it was worth it today

Jack I am sure was very put out that he maybe out of a job soon he preceeded to charge around the house checking how dog proof everything was using his Labby tail to knock things flying, oh the embarrassment the couple were lovely and took it all in their stride.

All that hard work paid off.......well done to you
