Are bananas ok for dogs?

One of my dogs loves fruit and veg, especially bananas and oranges. Is it ok to give them to him?

My guys get bananas, and steal them out the fruit bowl when my backs turned

Mine love them, they have a bone and a banana every lunchtime. The funny things is that the babies have started copying them, so I am going through several bunches a week

Hatti also loves banana-she'd eat the skin if she could as well-also loves apples and carrots-she has these instead of doggie treats

Our 2 love bananas, and all fruit and veg - I'd rather give these than doggy treats! I love to watch them crunching on carrots!

Bananas shold be OK, but avoid grapes and raisins. The mold on the skin is quite toxic. I say the less a dog gets except a dry kibble, the better.
