Steph, the balance on the nose thing is his latest party trick. He's learnt it really quickly and is very close to being able to flick a ball off his nose and catch it! Pointless i know but he think's its great fun and part of my alternating training schedule! I reckon you could be right with the counting thing one day, i'll be calling on you at some point for tips!

I would bank a £100 quid I am right, Monty so reminds me of the Border Collie I had....who I told you could count, she also could do it by paw too, by hitting her paw on the floor. Also I had a old organ which if asked to her to play, she would go up to and hit with her paws.......I honestly can see Monty is intelligent and i know he has hidden talents hun ....believe me I can see it in his eyes
