We go through stages of having one a week then going 6-8 months without one. I'm very fussy about what take away I eat too.

I cannot stand McMurder, hideous food and do not see the appeal at all. I love our Indian and Chinese places in Burford. We also have a great Thai place near us and when we go into Oxford there are the best tapas and Lebanese restaurants!

I'd much rather go to one of the award winning pubs here in the Cotswolds though and try some fish dishes, or to my favourite champagne and oyster bar in Brighton.

Fish and chips should be saved for when on the coast. It never tastes as good as it does on the coast!

Ah, I guess that's where we're lucky - our village fish and chip shop is about 200 yards from the sea

Well, you'd have to walk a mile from our house down the beach path to get there, and a mile back, so you'd be getting exercise!!
