Good afternoon all.

Rain followed the horrible storm right through to this morning, but it got to around 25 C before we came home from out walk.

Moyra, call the police. They should send someone out to have a word and move him on. They will also give him details of the homeless hostels so it may help him.

Kelly, I so feel for your situation with Dex. It's the very worst part of sharing our lives with our friends

Dex has gone, he went peacefully in my arms, he was 21 1/2 years old and I had had the pleasure of him being in my life for 19 1/2 years. The vet took him out the back to shave his leg and he was gone for ages, he came back and apologised and said he had a little alone time with Dexter...he had known him as long as us

Thanks Moyra, it's thanks to that cat that I was able to have dogs...he gave me a reason to live when I had list everything, it's funny being able to sit on the sofa, he had taken to sitting in my spot

Oh Kelly, I am so sorry. I know how much the decision was tearing you apart. I hope mum and dad are OK with it and know that Dex is in a far better place now, free from pain and discomfort.

Big <hugs> and run free Dex. Have fun while you wait. Shine down brightly little man xx

Thank you all
Dad wasn't happy with the decision...he walked out of the room! He did come back in, he doesn't cope well with losing pets... when my other dogs went he ended up on anti depressants he knows it was the right thing but I just don't think he was ready to say goodbye
Mum is very very upset, she knows it was right but not an easy decision, we will all be o.k, just so much happening at once.
Thank you all again xx
