Dry, but blooming freezing here. Still, you don't feel it too much when walking, especially with a breakfast and a couple of coffees thrown in

We seem to have used more calor gas this year than normal. We only use the heater in the hall to top up the storage heaters when needed so we must have needed it more this winter. It has been very cold and wet though so I suppose it was to be expected

Been to work and home now. Got to go and pick my BIL up from the hospital gone for his nucellar scan before his infusion for the pagets.

Chris my Electric Gas bill just in and it has been colder so not a waste, but the first time my bill has been more than I thought the house was always warm when Mom was alive but I have used significantly less as you would expect. Ah well.

Moyra Stay warm and dry and hope you are feeling a bit better.

Chris how are the sofa's?

Chris, Like you I have to use a cylinder gas fire to top up the heating because the night storage radiators are pretty useless. I have used a lot more gas this year too. My electricity consumption is a lot higher too. Can't win.

The sofas are fine, Kazz. Quite a good buy for the price

Evening everyone. Been busy decorating again today, should be finished tomorrow.
Really pleased with the colour. Tranquil dawn a Dulux paint and we possibly need another tin so Gorden popped out when we had finished for the day to get one just incase nothing worse than getting caught out at the last minute.
So considering they are still offering their deal of 3 for 2 we bought their newest colour out Heartwood for the bedrooms.
Guy who bought the Peugeot messaged today to say his V5 arrived yesterday so he taxed it and his girlfriend had an appointment in Norwich good long run for the car and to put it through it's paces and he is smitten with it.
So pleased to hear that.
