About me
I have been a dog owner for over 20 years and in that time I have also been active in animal welfare, dog re-homing/placement and rehabilitation. In that time I have oversaw the successful placement of many dogs in appropriate homes and have been happy to give advice and the benefit of my experience in that field. I am a strong believer that dogs are dogs, and NOT furry 'babies' and as such, believe that a dog is happiest when he is shown strong and consistent leadership. I have little time for the 'new age' 'experts' on dogs and believe that this new wave of pet therapists, dog psychics and 'spiritual healers' are either phonies in it for the $$$, or just severely delluded. The care of my dogs comes first, before anything else, and so long as I can make their lives happy and worthwhile, then my life is worthwhile too :)
