Thans for that been searching the net and their is soo much I train my dogs and was spotted doing recall work with them and the owner has asked me if I would point them in the right direction All I have said so far is this............. "Work out the highest value treat to your dog and onlyever give that treat for a recall " - the reply I got was ooohh because of her being a papillion we can't give her treats |

I have one, she is 15 yrs now. I had her at 6yrs and she was fine off the lead, a little "deaf" at times but nothing serious and I never had issues with getting her back. Paps are smart Dogs, they learn quickly, if its lack of training, I think you would have little trouble getting the Dog to a reasonable recall standard. |

All I know is I love them but never had one. They are very smart and I think can be taught just about anything and yet they can certainly challenge you from what I hear. |
