You have a very valid point Morgandy - I've often thought that myself when they say "we've had hundreds of calls" about one appeal, it is such a shame they don't refer all these callers on to other rescue centres who have lots of dogs who are just aching for a new home, it seems a senseless waste of time to just let such an opportunity go amiss. Pet Rescue and appeals like the ones in The Sun newspaper must generate huge amounts of interest and yet they don't seem to filter these people down to local rescue centres who do not have the resources to pay for such appeals. Cuzball, I have no idea sorry. Maybe someone else may know? Anyway, as for Dizzy's appeal. Wonderful ideas. Ripsnorterthe2nd is going to email this morning show, so fingers crossed they may do something about him on there. I agree though that many of these TV appeals could point people in other rescue's directions. |
