Hello to everyone from Lyka and Sky

Hello! My name is Lyka. Obviously I'm new here. I've had dogs all my life and am currently studying to be a dog trainer (positive reinforcement). I hope to train service dogs in the future.

I currently live with 3 dogs but only own one of them, a 2-year-old Australian Shepherd/Catahoula Leopard Dog mix (at least that's the best guess we've got between my knowledge of dog breeds and his vet) named Sky. I adopted him at about 9 months old after he was tied up in a trailer park and abandoned. As far as we could tell he went those 9 months without hardly anything in the way of training or socialization and it's been a big task getting him caught up, but very rewarding. He's a handful when he gets going but is really just a big goofy sweetheart and I love him to death.
