Tommy

I havent posted for a long time but wanted to those that know me that my wonderful Tom went OTRB on Monday. He developed a bowel disorder called Protien Reducing Enteropathy and despite his brave fight and ours it got the better of him. I looked after him at home as I am a registered nurse and when he needed I/V's I was able to do that. It was a real roller coaster of 6 weeks where he got a little better and then would have a bad day again. We tried everything , we had fabulous vet care here in Spain but sadly it was not to be. He was the reason I joined the forum all that time ago hence my user name. I miss him so much as he one of those special once in a lifetime dogs. He was a sensitive soul who could read me well. His buddy Bella is still a little subdued but getting there with lots of fuss and long walks. If anyone ever needs any advice on this disorder please let me know as I gathered a huge amount of resources on it when we going through this horrible time. Rest Easy my dear Tommy.

I remember Tom from when I had my lurcher, we used to have chats.
Hugs to you, at least Tom is no longer poorly or suffering. xx
