Killer parasite is found to be endemic across central Scotland
LUNGWORM can be contracted by dogs after they accidentally swallow infected slugs or snails and was present in over 6 per cent of dogs tested in three Glasgow parks.
A "hidden killer" parasite that can be fatal to dogs is endemic in central Scotland, new research suggests.
