Barney Staffie DOB ?2011 Guildford Kenns
a supportive family to offer time and tolerance to allow their new dog to settle. Barney's family will need to love his energy and be active. Barney deserves an inclusive family focused on the outdoor life. Can be leapy on meeting, just pure exuberance but awareness needed. Keen to meet dogs and meets well. Only dog / pet. Would enjoy a secure garden or secure exercise area NB Our Rescue asks owners to maintain dogs on lead in public spaces and manage encounters, as dog law changes place dog's lives at greater risk.
Barney was found stray/abandoned and unclaimed within a council pound. We stepped forwards to offer a Rescue place and save Barney's life. Barney has been neutered, chipped and fully vaccinated. Barney is now in boarding kennels near Guildford.
Barney is Pepsi cola On meeting there is a vibrant serge of sweet fizz tickling your nose! A sustained refreshing fizz as he set out on his walk, or jog or bike accompaniment. Barney has a love of life; people; dogs. Barney's pace is naturally 1.5 times yours, so he needs an extended lead to employ that excess movement and pull: Barney adjusts to your command and will stop to please you! Bless him he serge's, then stops, trying to work out how to synchronise his pace with yours see the video. Barney meets dogs well and connects well with his walker giving due regard for you. Barney obeys commands and must have had a good start in life which serves him well now. Excited initially in the car but settles: Need securing.
Barney is a red Staffie with a black muzzle and white chest and socks. Barney is a lovely size. He doesn't have any skin issues, which affects many Staffies, but kennels have been a challenge to him physically. Barney will 'chill' in a home environment, but needs careful introductions as his energy can turn leapy. A leap for joy which if misjudged could hurt him and you! Barney is attentive, engaging and loves to run and play. You can't get away from Barney's energy, it leaves an impression on you from the outset...but then so does his smile, his caring and his companionship.
