I know I have said I was thinking of getting a small dog but...

lets be honest, I am a big dog kinda gal. I'm not sure I would know what to do with a smaller dog and in researching I have found my tastes do tend to go with the larger dogs, especially mollossers.

Though I will NOT rush into getting another dog and have been researching for the past few years, I am looking and always thinking. Thanks for listening and I hope you have a great day!

It's completely personal preference. I'm sure some people pick small dogs for the cuddly baby aspect. Me? I have cats to be cuddly babies. The dogs like to believe they're lap sized, but stretched out they almost equal me in length. But just the right size to hug on a chilly night...while hubby feels secretly rejected...although Callie has head on his pillow Big dogs just do it for me, I dunno...

I'm a big dog person, but when our tiny dog arrived (okay, she's not exactly tiny; she's 18 kilos of solid muscle) I decided little dogs are a-OK with me.

We have always liked and chosen bigger dogs too but when Mo was so ill and we had to lift her on a few occasions we made the decision that the next one would be small and light After all we are getting older now.
At least you have put some thought into the decision.
