Toby – 10 year old Toy Poodle X boy – Stroud, Gloucestershire





Toby is absolutely adorable but he has a sad story to tell. This tiny little gent who is a poodle cross of 10 years plus was caught in the floods in his native Spain. He was found battered, confused and upset with mud caked like little stones in between the pads in his paws. He was rescued and eventually found his way to the UK where he is being cared for in a foster home through Starfish Dog Rescue.



Toby was probably once a companion of an elderly Spanish person before he was separated by the floods. He is a real lap dog who just adores people and wants cuddles all the time.



Toby is described as the most adorable boy. He is so sweet and loving with people and is good with both dogs and cats. He loves his foster mum’s children too and likes nothing better than to cuddle up.



Toby still likes his walks and is fine going off the lead. He has been vet checked and suffers from age related concerns such as cataracts and arthritis in his back legs, but this has improved since getting exercise with other dogs. He is having some difficulty with house training – a work in progress. He is getting better but is still not consistent. He will need understanding owners who will work with him on this and overlook the occasional accident. This loving boy will repay you a thousand-fold with his loving nature!

He has been neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped.
