alot of toy dogs can be yappy. not all but some breeds are more known for it than others. depends what else you want out of a dog. you cant really base your decision on a dog that barks or not as within each breed every dog is different. i have two chinese cresteds which are from the toy group. |

I have a Chuhuahua he's not a yappy dog he has a really deep bark bless him, but he only barks if the door bell rings or there's someone around who shouldn't be. At the bottom of our garden is the school playing field he never barks at the kids (infant & junior) but if there's an adult there he barks which is good really. He'd let us know if anybody was around, strange thing he's fine with the neighbours on one side but barks at the neighbours on the other side. |
