OMG, they look so wrecked, If it had not been for the markings and colour I would have thought they were some sort of terrier cross I hate that hollow empty look they have in there eyes. |

Judging by the colour with the predominance of tawny, I would say that these are possible wolf crosses - my best guess would be Sibe x wolf cross. I would doubt very much that these are just straightforward NI's cross Sibe, there is some wolf in there, or possiblyGSD, but my money would be wolf because of the relative smallness of the ears. There is no other way that much tawny could happen, IMO. |

Hmm, just had another look, the ears are bigger than I first thought. Legs and colouring point towards some wolf. They are beautiful dogs ... as Shona says, they have a story to tell and it ain't pleasant, poor darlings. I'd love to consider taking them on, but I know what my OH will say, so there's no point even thinking about it. |
