Yeah I do understand the seriousness, I've had a gsd overdose on it before (and another allergic to it) - he took a small stroke fortunately he recovered from it ok. I won't be changing any of my vet's instructions, i was just curious to hear from others experience with it. |

Thats not really a light dose, Id do as your Vet says. Hope your dog is better soon. |

My GSD who weighs 33kilos is on this dosage post op. I don't like to give too much & will be glad when he doesn't need to take it any more. |

My 30 kg Dalmatian was given 50mg Rimadyl after having one of her canine teeth taken out. She was on 1 1/2 a day so I would think 2 a day sounds about right. |

I had a rott who weighed 48kg and the maximum dose he could have was 100mg twice a day BUT only for a week. The maintenance dose was 50mg twice a day |
