Dog holidays in wales?

Been looking through thewoofguide but cant make up my mind.. Does anyone have any recommendations for my partner, myself and our 4 year old water loving/active dog? Is their plenty of pet friendly places to visit too? x

I stayed in Colwyn Bay in 2011 with 3 dogs and I thought it was an excellent area. The beaches were suitable for the dogs, they loved the Great Orme (although the sheep and mountain goats were an issue at times) and we went into the National Park one day and visited Betws-Y-Coed. I cant advise you about dog friendly pubs, shops, attractions etc as I dont visit those kinds of places, I simply walk!

Have a look on Cottages4You, there are some wonderful places and having just one dog you will have plenty of choice. I have 3 dogs so i'm very limited.

We've taken Loki to North Wales and have found the Orme in Llandudno beautiful and there are dog friendly beaches too. Also, Black Rock Sands in Porthmadog was a firm favourite.
