Yes they will definitely lighten up as they get older.
I'm an expert in that department now

Mitch I have pm you. Your little puppy looks real cute, how old? what sex? are you keeping? love to see more of Him/Her as ? grows. i love the staffy temperments, there seems to be so many different looking ones, its kind of a growing interest i am having regarding the breed. i also like the bull terrier. and i could make this a very long list so im gonna stop.


I will keep you all up to date with pics and bore the socks off eveyone. They are just so cute.

im sure like mitch has said they will get lighter, but i dont know much about pugs colour geans but i know in staffords that 2 reds/fawns will have only reds/fawns.

They are so darn cute, and all reds, and what a difference in the colour. im amazed. Thanks for info, it sure is an eye opener into how much they can change. i have only really ever seen yorkie pups newborn and i had a litter of black pugs last year, which stayed black

it was funny the first time i had a red litter they looked black , i must of asked every1 i know how had, had reds before (just like mitch did ) just to make sure they were reds and not black or black and tans, not all reds are like this but some are.
