Hi
Gosh, I am sorry to hear that, how old was he?
My dog was a boxer we lost him 2 and a half years a go, he had prostrate cancer too.
he lived to 12. My vet gave us tablets to try and reduce the truma, but they made him so sick, we had to stop giving them to him
poor boy, god bless

Im so sorry to hear about the sad loss of your poor dog. At least he is at peace now but I know you must be feeling devastated. I have lost 3 dogs myself and my dog ollie I lost to prostate cancer which had spread to his lungs. Unfortunately the vet had mis-diagnosed this and my ollie was being given medication for arthritis so I was shocked to find this out 2 days before he was put to sleep after an x-ray confimed it that it was cancer . My heart goes out to you xxx

So sorry you had to come to this decision but I know and you know it was the best and kindest action you could give your best mate under the circumstances.
