it's the first problem I have encountered and it's been on here for probably 3 years now. It's definately in date as I renewed it - and paid for it

Will take a note of the others mentioned !

Could it effect me getting into MSN though ????????

Even tho Norton's internet security is good it does slow you system time down big time. I ran it with no problems at all just got rid cause of the system resorces it takes.

Now i just use the windows Firewall with My modem Firewall and Kaspersky Anti virus.
You can get some of the software mentioned from the sticky post that Eraze posted with other posts made by other members.

Hi Tracy ditch norton they are a pain in the butt i am running messenger live and on auto log in am having no probs if you want a good anti virus ptog go for avast its free home edition an free updates an is easy to install if you are worried about any thing pm me an i will come round an help you regards geoff

Do you mean the MSN messenger icon (the 2 men) has gone from your task bar?

But messenger is still active have you got xp configured to hide your inactive icons?
