I have used Mavis Beacon many years ago. I can touch type because I learnt typing and shorthand at school, but when the company I worked for went computerised they installed it so that the people who couldn't type would be able to learn off it and those (like me) who could but had lost their speeds could pick it up again.
I found it really easy to use and quite entertaining, also the people who couldn't type learnt very quickly off it.

I'm like Foxy, learnt touch typing at College with the shorthand, I'm probably well over the 120wpm that I was then to pass the exams (or was that the shorthand? Maybe typing was 90wpm?) I can't type at ALL if I look at the keyboard, how strange is that??? A good tip Stew if you want to type quickly and learn all the keys, you always start with resting both hands on the keyboard with your left fingers on the asdf and the right hand on the jkl; as that's what we do before we start typing A good practice sentence for you to type too, is: "The quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog" coz this sentence has every single key of the alphabet (don't know HOW I remembered that coz it was years ago I learned!)

There is no way a 2 finger typist can type as quickly as a touch typist who uses all four fingers and one thumb! Think of all those loooooong posts you'll be able to do!
