Sore on back leg

Hi I need some advice, Max my Dally has got a sore on his right back leg, I have tried bathing it in savlon and putting antiseptic cream on. He hasnt hurt himself or anything. I think he has caused it through excessive grooming. Any ideas on what to do. Hes in good health,.



I have now decided to take him to the vets because when I went to look at it just now to take the pic its a lot worse than yesterday.

Yeah Id take him to the vets just to be on the safe side too - hope hes ok!

Have been to the vets, they seem to think its anxiety. When I got Tia he avoided her and its only recently that he has allowed her to sleep with him. The vet seems to think when Tia was introduced into the family he started to lick himself in anxiety and aalthough he has now accepted her it has become a vicious circle of licking.

Max has always been a Mavis Riley of the dog world.

Anyway he has to have cream on 3 times a day and wear one of those lampshades for a few days.
