Jessie's been eating cat litter!

Yes - honest! A friend gave me something called 'the world's best cat litter' to try and Jessie certainly think it is! It's corn based and I've caught her a couple of times munching away. Now, she's got a horrendous runny tummy! Pale coloured stools and I can only put it down to the cat litter. She's such a munch monster and still wants to eat but I was going to keep her off food today. Any other suggestions?

There was a thread on here a few months ago about dogs eating cat litter, the dog in question was very ill, I can't remember the details only that cat litter is very dangerous to eat!

It may depend on the type - the info on the bag says that it's completely natural and 'safe' for the cats to taste! I can imagine that the clay or wood based ones might cause a problem though.
