smelly girl

Just wandered if anybody had similar experiences.

One of my dogs, 8 year old staffy cross, is very afraid of fireworks. She has been very 'windy' and v.v.v.v.stinky for a couple of days. I put it down to her nervous tummy (she gets that at this time of year), but am worried because she is drinking so much water. I have never noticed if she does this usually when she is nervous.

Also, her nose seems very dry.

I will probably take her to the vet tomorrow if she keeps drinking like this over night.

She is still eating, but not with her usual gusto (to be expected I suppose?)

Any ideas?

Yep i agree, scrumpy uses messes in his bed around this time of year, purely down to being so scared of the fireworks, but i agree with staffy , pop her to the vets just to make sure

Hope she feels better soon

Luca has been windy too these last couple of days. She also seems to come and find me before she decides to release it

Could be a good idea to pop her along to the vets, just for peace of mind.

Hi, thanks for your advice guys, she seems a little less ' stinky' this morning, bit I am taking her to the vets later anyway (just for a check up - plus he's a bit yummy!)

Inca - no I didn't mean Autarky Gusto (???), and she was spayed at 6 months.

Thanks again
