Welcome to Dogsey

Is your puppy a Labrador X Standard Poodle ? if so you could end up with a very big strong dog, stronger than a Golden !!
Best of luck if he is this cross !

Hi,

No, his mother is a first generation labradoodle and his father is a small poodle. I have seen the mother and she is smaller than my retriever was and the owner said that the pups should be smaller than her as the father was little!

Time will tell!

Which one? Just curious, because I live on one, too! Orkney is also short of rescue centres, so my collies have always come from local farms, my first two were brothers from the same farm, one died, and the third came from a different farm.

I have remaining the older brother, Kali Kolsson, aged almost 15, and the new puppy, Thorgeir the Lawsayer, aged about 3 months.

Kali Kolsson, onetime Norse Earl of Orkney.

I live on Mull, but funnily enough we were going to move to Orkney originally but the job which had been advertised then became unavailable because the person withdrew their notice as they'd decided not to leave.

Sorry, the nearest I've been to Mull is Islay/Jura and on the ferry! I wonder which is the more difficult to live on - you know, everything coming by plane or boat, howling wind and deep snowdrifts up the side of your house! Thank goodness for the Internet - but pray for the power to stay on!
