Frankie, male Wirehaired Jack Russell Terrier X, DOB 21.05.07
Frankie, Wirehaired Jack Russell Terrier X, DOB 21.05.07 – Swindon, Wiltshire
Homing Requirements: Frankie needs an aware family who are respectful and will ensure strangers are respectful too. A child-free life with regular known people and dogs would suit Frankie's temperament. Would settle with another playful dog. Skin/fur needs watching re flea allergy.
His Story: Frankie was rescued by his current family from a busy family with 5 children including 9 month old twins. His owners have had him 4 years and now have their own toddler. Frankie has always been uncomfortable around children. Frankie is neutered and vax'd (may need chipping). Still with his own family in Swindon, Wiltshire.
Advert: Frankie is a terrier needing understanding...he ISN'T a soft toy! Frankie gets excited meeting new dogs and can pop in true terrier fashion which is how he meets and greets in a playful way: He is often better off lead or parallel walking to settle until he settles. Frankie has 'dog friends' and enjoys sharing his house with doggie friends. If Frankie is introduced to other dogs correctly he can be a lovely, playful dog. Frankie would benefit with living with another dog. Not for small furries or cats; he has killed vermin 'playing with them'.
Frankie is a 5 year old Jack Russell x with a soft wire coat in grey and white which needing regular grooming. He travels well in the car with a harness or behind a dog guard. He knows sit, lay down, stay (sometimes!), wait (for food), close (when walking on lead). He is ok on recall, depending on distractions. For Frankie's third home he needs child-free and terrier experienced owners.
