Start off on -
1 x 500mg daily of evening primrose capsule first week
2 x 500mg. ". ". ". second week daily
3 x 500mg. ". ". ". third week. daily
4 x 500mg. ". ". ". fourth week. daily

Keep her on 4 x 500mg daily for 3 months. It can take up to 3 weeks before you notice any changes. After three months you can try reducing the dose gradually until you find a dose that keeps her stabilised. Not a cure im afraid, only helpful while you give it

Thank you Helen, had a look at the internet and definitely going to get some tomorrow when I am out shopping.. I was going to do 1000 mg daily as she weighs about 55 kg.. but will start with the 500 instead.. thank you!!!!

You need to take her to the vet as she could have a UTI which is causing her to pee everywhere.

My buddy had the same problem when we first brought her in. she used to do it even while awake while just lying down like she isn't even aware. The doctor said it could be uti but couldn't diagnose anything definitive and it just went away on its own after a year. but medications didn't really help her though, we just made sure not to give her any water after 8pm so that after her nightly business is done after dinner she doesn't need to pee again till morning. it didn't always work, but it helped sometimes.
