Diego

Diego is a 14-month-old, male Rottweiler, who came to The Mayhew as a stray. He is friendly and sociable with everyone he meets, and good with other dogs, although he would benefit from more socialization with male dogs. He is obedient, knowing all the basic commands and is well-behaved and eager to please. We do not know whether he is toilet-trained or how he copes when left alone. He has not been tested with young children.

Diego has a very sweet and affectionate nature, forming bonds quickly and strongly and showing great loyalty. A loving and playful dog who greets you with great excitement. He loves his toys and will bring you his teddy and run around with a toy in his mouth. He will need at least one to two hours of off-lead exercise every day and his new guardian will be expected to take him to training classes. His new guardians will be taking on a thirteen-year commitment, which must not be taken lightly.

Diego is looking for a loving new home with an adult family who can share his toys and love with.
