Fingal - RIP - 1999-2012

I've always dreaded my turn to write this thread.

I'm gutted to say that following a sudden trauma - Fingal was put to sleep this evening.

He a was a bundle of love for the whole family right up to the end and never really did become an old dog as such.

He slipped away as I held him and (as ever) he never took his eyes off me.

It's only been a couple of hours and it's probably the longest Fingal and Skye have been apart.

As a Dogsey 'old timer' he's had his fair share of threads and photographs over the years and I'd like to think he's made a few folk smile.

From the most recent pictures you posted it looks like he lived his life in full right to the end.

I was just enjoying some lovely Fingal photos yesterday or the day before, and he was looking so well.

I am so, so sorry. How is Skye taking it?
