Quiet here. Both on this forum and at home. Been under the weather with a stomach bug for the last couple of days.Haven't had solid food since Wednesday at lunch.

Now having home made clear soup. It's a start.

Afternoon all.

Been to work home now having sweetheart cabbage with whatever else I decide on. I am one of the odd souls who adore cabbage.

Stripped the porch/hall yesterday so got to emulsion the ceiling first. Have already removed the old skirting board so now got to buy new and then fix it on as it was a bit odge bodged over the years, my plan is to take my time and have a go. Then move onto the stairs and landing, which I have already stripped.

Alls well that ends well - I think that must be a trait that runs through some families or some reason our family parties are a success if there is loads of food over.

Happy Birthday to your Mom.

Griff wish your mum a happy from me. Gordon just in case you come on in the wee small hours I like to think my daughter in the USA follows in her mum's footsteps with dogs, mind you my other daughter does to. Then I had a good grounding from my parents.
