Dustbusters by any name.

Finally, and I do not have any vacuum cleaner and hate them, I decided to get a hand held rechargeable. Dust from the wood fire etc get around and is hard to deal with.. Home Base had the original Black and Decker for E32, but two doors away was Argos for E12.99.. Decent reviews etc so guess which I bought. Charging as I type.. the wall in here is stone dressed with plaster to reveal the stone if you know what I mean and the dust gathers in the interesting crevices..anyone else tried the cheap one?

I have a big old house to clean. We have a Bissell upright and it's one of the few vacuums we've ever had that didn't blow out within a few months. Lightweight, and best of all you can take apart the main filters, wash dry and reassemble easily. Plus the hose has attachment for radiator fuzz and between fireplace bricks.

Between dust bunnies and cats my name could be Fureverywhere.
