I've Given Up TV

It's all rubbish innit
Apart from life in the undergrowth which astounds me every week
Now we have this space hoax show to look forward too
and the best comedy which the BBC can come up with is Blessed which i'm suprised is still running it's so bad

I don't watch TV much either, even though I have Sky - it's just more channels with b*gger all on! I spend most of my spare time on here.

I loved the book though

It maybe is a bit soapy...but if it encourages more people to look at Dickens then its a good thing.
Did you ever read the CS Lewis books when you were younger?

I am not a great Dickens fan but I have absolutely loved this adaptation I think the fact that the screeplay was done by Andrew Davis may have something to to with it though ..the acting and directing are fantastic..

I think that the shows are half an hour long put me off this adaptation
My mum read me the lion, the witch and the wardrobe when i was younger
Looking forward to seeing the movie

I agree Mini i think the acting is excellent, and the fact that it is so atmospheric..its really drawn me in

I read the books when I was very young....which was a few (cough) years ago and I loved them, looking forward to seeing the film as well

I haven't watched a single tv show since writing this thread but tonight is part 3 of life in the undergrowth (Spiders )
David Attenborough is a life long hero of mine, i read his autobiography recently which is facsinating
