Need An Alternative To Hotdogs For Hiding Mama Dog's Antibiotics In

My dog has been put on antibiotics and has 8 two week old puppies.
We are using hotdogs to hide her meds in, but now that she has 8 puppies, I'm rethinking it.
The puppies have the runs and I suspect the hotdogs play a part in that.
The last time I was at the feed store I looked at the treats, but they were either the crunchy bone type or too small to conceal an antibiotic.
I'm thinking raw hamburger, but then again maybe not.
Any and all ideas welcome!

Cheese perhaps, or sardines is a good one.

I had that problem with both dogs. Sophie can eat around ANY treat and always spit out the medication no matter how large or small. With her it became restrain, open the mouth and throw in the pill at warp speed, no fun.

Callie loves peanut butter Pill Pockets. They come in different sizes and flavors too. I just wrap his capsule, now you see it and now you don't.

I know you Brits scoff the American solution . . . but peanut butter (not pockets . . . out of the jar) really works. It's healthy, easy, sticky (so the dog can't easily pick the pill out) and doesn't require refrigeration

A small corner of Kraft Cheese Slices does the trick. Just enough to wrap around the tablet if you are worried about giving something novel

My vet gave me the perfect solution for the dog that won't take meds easily. Crush the pill between two teaspoons, add a little honey and a bit of water. Draw up into a syringe and slowly put into the side of the mouth. My problem dog loved it.
